Many funeral directors, will have a favourite celebrant, they use as part of the package they offer you, which means your choice is limited, however it is important for you to know that you are free to choose your own celebrant.
It may be that you have heard of someone who vividly captured and orated, the life of the person who's life was being celebrated, or someone who has been recommended to you by a friend or relative, or you simply don't want the celebrant being offered as part of the funeral company's package.
You are free to choose who you want to represent you and your family to ensure your loved ones life is celebrated, the way you want it to be, and you should explain this to the person who is discussing the arrangements with you.
